Mean “I Am Sorry”
“I am Sorry”. It is a phrase that is losing its value. So many believe those words fix the problem. They believe ” I am Sorry” is the humility necessary to build back trust. It is a start, but the humility comes with the vulnerability that must follow. The person you hurt will be angry. You must have the words with the actions to match, replacing that angry with trust. They will doubt you. Understand why and build the faith back up. Don’t say ” I am Sorry” expecting to be met halfway or expecting assistance. Say ” I am Sorry” because this person is worth having in your life. Apologize because you want to make amends and you’re ready to put the needs of the relationship ahead of selfish desires. Saying “I am Sorry” means you are ready to rectify the wrong by working toward what’s right.
